Job summary

methode is seeking a senior CI leader to own the site improvement roadmap and deploy a lean operating system across production and support functions. You will drive daily management, standard work, and value-stream alignment with leadership to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.

You will lead kaizen events, DMAIC/8D problem solving, and cross-functional efforts to accelerate flow while extending lean into quoting and planning.

Qualifications

• ITAR compliance: U.S. Person required.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
• 8+ years manufacturing experience with 3+ years leading CI/operational-excellence programs.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent with measurable outcomes.
• Deep knowledge of lean tools: VSM, standard work, SMED, 5S, visual/tiered management, kaizen, problem-solving.
• Strong analytical skills; proficient with ERP-based manufacturing data.

Responsibilities

• Own the site continuous-improvement roadmap and align with leadership planning.
• Design, deploy, and sustain the lean operating system with daily management and Gemba routines.
• Define and maintain plant KPI framework and drive action at every tier.
• Plan and lead kaizen events, value-stream mapping, and rapid improvement workshops.
• Lead structured problem-solving on high-impact losses and improve flow.
• Apply Lean to quoting, order entry, planning, purchasing, and quality processes.
• Build CI capability and coach supervisors to lead improvements in their areas.
