Job summary

Morgan Truck Body is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead for the 1st shift in Rydal, GA. You will drive Lean initiatives, coach teams, and lead enterprise-wide projects to reduce waste, improve safety, and boost productivity across multiple facilities.

You will mentor CI teams, facilitate Kaizen events, and ensure Lean principles become part of daily work life while traveling about 25% to support locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in manufacturing with CI leadership experience.
• Experience leading Lean, Kaizen or Operational Excellence projects.
• Deep knowledge of Lean principles and problem-solving methods.
• Proven ability to coach and mentor cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Travel ~25% to Morgan Truck Body locations to support projects.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and cross-functional improvement projects.
• Develop and sustain standardized work and 5S across sites.
• Coach teams in Lean tools and problem-solving methodologies.
• Track KPIs and communicate results to leadership.
• Mentor Continuous Improvement teams and future Lean leaders.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Safety.
