Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. in San Antonio seeks a Lean Transformation Manager to own the Lean journey for a value stream. You will work closely with the Lean Transformation Manager and Focus Factory Manager to implement JCBS across operations, coach staff, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

You will lead gap analyses, develop future state visions, and monitor progress using kaizen events, VSM, and daily management practices. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 5+ years in manufacturing with 2+ years in continuous improvement/lean.
• Green Belt Six Sigma or Lean Certification in Value Stream Mapping and Standard Work.
• Proficiency in Lean tools: VSM, Kaizen, SMED, 5S, standard work, takt time, flow, pull systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the Lean Transformation Journey for one value stream at the San Antonio Chillers site.
• Collaborate with the Focus Factory Manager to implement the JCBS.
• Identify gaps, define future state, and drive the transformation plan.
• Coach teams in JCBS principles and sustain Daily Management system.
• Perform time studies and drive waste elimination and flow improvements.
