Job summary

Delta Air Lines is seeking a Continuous Improvement Coach to lead Lean transformation within a TechOps Value Stream. You will drive Kaizen events, coach leaders and frontline teams, and support the Flight Path operating system deployment to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

You will partner with operational leaders at Gemba, analyze performance data, and build capability through structured problem solving and daily management, embedding Lean principles across the value

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum experience in operations, continuous improvement, or operational excellence.
• Experience facilitating Lean initiatives and leading sustained improvements.
• Experience coaching leaders and teams through organizational change.
• Proficiency with Lean concepts and problem-solving methodologies.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead Kaizen preparation, execution, and sustainment to improve value stream performance.
• Coach leaders and teams on Daily Management, Standard Work, and Structured Problem Solving.
• Facilitate Value Stream reviews, improvement activities, and performance discussions.
• Partner with CI Specialists and teams to identify issues and implement countermeasures.
• Support deployment of the Flight Path operating system through coaching and change management.
• Conduct Gemba walks and coaching to reinforce Lean behaviors and sustain gains.
