Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking a seasoned Value Stream Coach to drive the site’s lean transformation and build leadership capabilities. You will coach leaders, mentor teams, and advance the Wabtec Management System across operations.

You will lead kaizen events, Daily Management, and problem solving while partnering with plant leadership to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This role requires travel ~10% and a strong Lean/Mfg background.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading lean transformation initiatives within manufacturing.
• Deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and TPS principles applied in practice.
• Experience implementing pull systems, flow, and kanban.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop leaders and teams.

Responsibilities

• Coach plant leaders to strengthen lean leadership, change management, and continuous improvement execution.
• Lead implementation and sustainment of the Wabtec Management System and lean disciplines.
• Facilitate Daily Management, kaizen events, A3 problem solving, and value stream mapping.
• Partner with plant leadership to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Develop organizational capability through training, mentoring, and hands-on application of lean tools.
• Lead strategic initiatives assigned by the Group Lean Leader and Operations leadership.
