Job summary

CECO Environmental in Addison, TX is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist – Transactional to apply Lean and improve transactional processes such as quoting, order entry, procurement, scheduling, and invoicing. The role focuses on eliminating waste and reducing cycle times in office and support teams.

You will map value streams, lead kaizen events with cross-functional partners, and develop standard work, visual management, and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in continuous improvement or operational excellence.
• 3+ years focused on transactional processes (quote/order/invoice).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Experience applying Lean in transactional functions in manufacturing.
• Facilitate kaizen events with cross-functional teams.
• ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Epicor) preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; Black Belt a plus.
• Advanced Excel; Power BI knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Map current and future-state transactional processes (quote-to-order, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay).
• Identify, scope, and prioritize improvement opportunities with senior manager.
• Plan and run transactional kaizen events with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze data to find waste and delays; apply A3, 5 Whys, DMAIC.
• Develop standard work, visual management, 5S in office areas.
• Define and track metrics; build reports and validate results.
• Partner with Customer Service, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Ops.
• Train and coach on Lean tools and problem solving.
• Identify opportunities for process automation with IT.
