Job summary

CECO Environmental Corporation is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist – Transactional in Addison, TX. The role targets transactional processes like quote-to-order, order-to-cash, and procure-to-pay, applying Lean methods to cut waste and cycle times.

You will partner with Customer Service, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, and Operations to deliver measurable improvements, train staff, and drive sustained changes across offices and systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or business process improvement, incl. at least 3 years in transactional processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience applying Lean in transactional functions (customer service, order management, procurement, finance) in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Facilitated kaizen events and led cross-functional improvement projects with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Map current and future-state transactional processes (quote-to-order, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay).
• Identify, scope, and prioritize improvement opportunities with senior Lean leadership.
• Plan and lead kaizen events and improvement workshops with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze data to identify waste and error drivers; apply A3, 5 Whys, DMAIC.
• Develop standard work, visual management, and 5S in office settings.
