Job summary

CECO Environmental seeks a Continuous Improvement Specialist – Transactional to streamline quote-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and order-to-cash processes across our corporate functions in Addison, TX. You will drive waste reduction, standardize office workflows, and partner with Sales, Finance, and IT to realize measurable gains.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of CI experience, a Bachelor's in a related field, and proficiency with ERP systems and Power BI.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in continuous improvement or business process improvement with at least 3 years on transactional processes.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
Experience applying Lean in transactional functions within manufacturing or industrial environments.
Experience facilitating kaizen events and leading cross-functional improvement projects to measurable results.
Multi-site experience preferred.
ERP systems experience (SAP, Oracle, Epicor) preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; Black Belt a plus.
Proficiency with Lean tools: VSM, standard work, 5S, visual management, root cause analysis.
Advanced Excel; Power BI data visualization a plus.

Responsibilities

Map current and future-state transactional processes using value stream and process mapping.
Identify, scope, and prioritize improvement opportunities aligned with business impact.
Plan and facilitate transactional kaizen events with cross-functional teams.
Analyze process data to identify waste, delays, and error drivers; apply problem-solving methods.
Develop and implement standard work and 5S for office processes.
Define and track process performance metrics; build reporting tools and validate results.
Partner with multiple departments to align projects with business priorities.
Train and coach on Lean tools and transactional problem solving; support change management.
Identify opportunities for process automation and system improvements with IT.
