Job summary

Rise Baking Company, LLC in Bonner Springs, KS is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead performance and reliability improvements across the facility. The role offers the opportunity to drive cost savings and enhance production through lean and TPM methods.

You will develop reliability plans for assets and teams, lead training, and coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality. A strong manufacturing background and knowledge of regulatory standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or engineering experience, preferably with food packaging/bakery equipment.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and initiatives concurrently.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Lean-minded thinker with process-driven mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of FDA, OSHA, EPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the continuous improvement program and standards.
• Apply TPM and lean methodologies to optimize asset and workforce effectiveness.
• Develop and manage reliability improvement plans for assets and staff.
• Lead mindset training programs to support reliability improvements.
• Lead startup/testing for packaging materials and equipment; support new projects.
• Provide technical operations support for capital projects and startups.
• Support product commercialization initiatives for operations.
• Serve as liaison between production, maintenance, leadership, marketing, R&D, and other facilities.
