Job summary

Kerry is seeking an experienced Operations Leader focused on warehousing and logistics to strategically plan, digitalize, and improve processes across warehousing, transportation and customer experience in North America.

You will drive governance, partner with Sales, Customer Care, Plants, Finance, ICT, Supply Planning, Transportation and 3PLs, and lead a team to meet safety, quality and cost objectives while delivering service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in warehousing, logistics and supply chain with increasing responsibility in manufacturing (food, beverage, consumer goods, pharma) in North America.
• 5+ years in transportation or warehouse operations positions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Operations/Industrial Management, Engineering or Supply Chain.
• Leadership and influencing skills.

• Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial skills.
• Advanced analytical and data management skills.
• Advanced Excel and data analytics skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse space utilization, work schedules, cycle counts, inbound/outbound practices, resourcing and communication for efficient operations.
• Implement Lean Principles at every opportunity.
• Deliver KPIs for Customer Service, 3PL, Transportation, Claims, Inventory Accuracy, Stock-at-risk, and Cost targets.
• Ensure Health and Safety policies are in place and adhered to.
• Ensure compliance with legislative practices and industry codes.
• Lead execution of network strategy initiatives and new warehouse introductions.
• Oversee project integration to meet Safety, Quality, Service and Cost objectives.
• Monitor progress of milestones and provide status reports.
• Manage changes with proper documentation and assessment.
• Live Kerry Values to build a great team culture.
• Lead and coach Warehouse team with regular feedback.
