Job summary

Brunswick Corporation is seeking a Quality Manager to lead QA/QC activities across production areas, driving improvements and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The role requires hands-on shop floor leadership, Six Sigma expertise, and strong collaboration with engineering, production and management teams.

The ideal candidate will have five+ years in QC/QA, formal Six Sigma training, and proven ability to develop training programs and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA, QE and QC processes across assigned areas.
• Lead and develop a team of hourly and salaried members for career growth.
• Plan and adjust work priorities to meet daily, weekly, monthly goals and metrics.
• Develop formal quality inspection training requirements.
• Ensure inspection/test methods are consistently applied.
• Analyze processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Drive process/quality improvements using formal methodologies.
• Apply Lean Mfg. principles and Six Sigma tools to production and quality processes.
• Sustain product and process controls and correct nonconformances.
• Review warranty data and dealer complaints to improve controls.
• Oversee QCIS QC data input and boat tagging process.
• Participate in cross-functional walkthroughs.
• All other duties as assigned.
