Job summary

O-I in Muskogee, OK is seeking a Production Manager to lead in-plant technical services across forming, mold repair, machine repair, refiners and forehearths, applying lean six sigma to improve quality and line efficiency.

The role oversees department leaders, provides technical and financial oversight, collaborates with production teams to reach safe, high-quality packed tons, and drives projects from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in glass forming and manufacturing environments.
• Experience supervising and leading people and processes.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage department and discipline leaders in mold repair, machine repair and forming.
• Provide technical and financial oversight in areas of accountability.
• Collaborate with production teams to help them achieve their goals for safe, quality packed tons.
• Drive adherence and compliance to Manufacturing Fundamentals in areas of accountability.
• Responsible for managing and forecasting major projects.
