Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking a Process Improvement Specialist to independently lead intermediate-scale quality and operational efficiency projects. You will apply Lean/Six Sigma methods, conduct data analysis, and engage stakeholders to improve clinical and organizational performance.

The role involves coaching on process improvement, modeling continuous improvement, and ensuring project outcomes align with department goals across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a related field (business administration, healthcare administration, public administration, finance, management, engineering)
• 4 years of professional experience in analytics, project management or operational improvement
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification required or within 18 months

Responsibilities

• Leads moderately complex cross-functional projects with minimal oversight.
• Establishes measures to monitor and sustain improvements post-project.
• Performs intermediate data analysis and visualization to identify trends and opportunities.
• Applies quality improvement tools to guide project execution.
• Facilitates project meetings and supports cross-team collaboration.
• Ensures outcomes align with operational objectives and department goals.
• Documents barriers and collaborates with stakeholders to implement solutions.
• Prepares reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
• Shares knowledge on process improvement methods to build organizational capability.
• Ensures adherence to policies, standards and regulations.
