Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Process Improvement Lead for our distribution network in California. The role centers on applying Lean Six Sigma, 5S, and time-and-motion studies to reduce losses and standardize work within a Distribution Center. You will drive KPI improvements and support deployment of WPS playbooks across teams.

You will collaborate with area managers, lead top-loss projects, and help build others’ capability in continuous improvement while upholding Walmart's values and ethics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant work experience in Process Improvement.
• 2 years' experience in process improvement or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead process-improvement initiatives using 5S, root-cause analysis, Six Sigma methods.
• Analyze KPI data to eliminate losses and reduce process variation in a DC.
• Develop standard work and deploy WPS programs across the area.
• Coordinate with area managers and stakeholders to achieve savings targets.
• Mentor associates and build capability for continuous improvement.
