Job summary

MKS Inc. is seeking a Continual Improvement intern to partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other internal teams. You will report to the Continual Improvement Manager and apply lean six sigma methodologies to improve processes.

Responsibilities include process benchmarking, data analytics, and creating visual factory representations. Travel is not required, and the internship offers hands-on exposure to frontline improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Commitment to 35–40 hours per week.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with Teams.
• SAP familiarity is helpful.
• Ability to compute and interpret data with charts/graphs.

Responsibilities

• Support Continual Improvement initiatives using lean6Sigma tools.
• Perform data analytics and process benchmarking.
• Create Value Stream maps and visual factory concepts.
• Conduct root cause analyses and problem solving.
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
