Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering intern in Redmond to gain hands-on experience applying Lean Six Sigma principles. You will work with a mentor to identify and implement improvements in current manufacturing processes, aiming to reduce defects and enable efficient product introductions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with design and operations teams, with opportunities to contribute to fixture development, ergonomics, and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in a related field and enrolled in a degree program.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at time of hire.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong written and verbal communication with collaborative skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving and multi-priority management.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lean Six Sigma projects in a manufacturing setting under a mentor.
• Identify opportunities to reduce defects and improve processes.
