Job summary

Primient is seeking a Business Partner, Black Belt to join the Continuous Improvement team in Decatur, Illinois. You will lead Lean Six Sigma projects, mentor Green Belts, and drive data‑driven improvements to plant efficiency, product quality, and cost performance while upholding safety and company values.

Responsibilities include deploying CI programs, reporting KPIs, advancing OEE, delivering LSS trainings, and collaborating with plant leadership and engineering to achieve sustainable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, STEM, supply chain, business administration, finance, or related field (preferred).
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (required).
• 3+ years experience in Lean Six Sigma (required).
• 3+ years experience in continuous improvement roles in continuous process manufacturing (required).

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean Six Sigma process improvement projects with plant leadership and engineering teams to enhance plant efficiency, improve product quality, and reduce operating costs.
• Develop and report performance metrics; monitor KPIs and provide regular reports to sponsors and leadership.
• Manage CI deployment, executing Lean Six Sigma projects to drive process improvement and defect reduction.
• Drive OEE improvement; implement and support plant‑level OEE tools and reporting.
• Utilize data management tools to support operational improvements and streamline reporting.
• Deliver Lean Six Sigma trainings (Green Belt, RCCA, FMEA, etc.).
• Mentor and coach Green Belts to build CI capabilities.
• Champion a safety‑first culture with tools and projects to improve safety outcomes.
