Job summary

Interstate Connecting Components (ICC) is looking for a Quality Engineer to enhance its quality system and drive continuous improvement across operations. This role involves applying lean tools to build capable processes and working cross-functionally to ensure customer quality requirements are met.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and have at least 3 years of quality engineering experience, ideally in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with quality engineering tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of quality engineering experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems.
• Demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and PDCA methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for customer quality requirements.
• Maintain and improve QMS documentation per AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015.
• Issue and manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
