Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Lean Manager I to support the Operating Group and Project Teams in defining and executing Lean Innovation agendas and Project Standard Work, while interacting with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment.

The role emphasizes partnering with project leadership, coaching teams in continuous improvement, and applying Kaizen methods to drive measurable improvements on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6+ years construction or manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years applying continuous improvement in relevant environments.
• Current driver's license.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project leadership to gain buy-in for lean approaches.
• Coach teams in continuous improvement and Kaizen methodologies.
• Lead 5S practices with project teams and trade partners.
• Measure performance and track improvements across projects.
• Develop Production Preparation Process for new scopes of work.
