Job summary

Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. seeks an MPS expert to advance the Mercedes-Benz Production System across Alabama facilities and international sites. You will drive lean implementations, lead complex projects, and train teams to sustain improvements.

You will collaborate with production planning and cross-functional partners, delivering data-driven analyses and digitalization efforts while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Supply Chain/Operations Management.
• Minimum 3 years in production, production planning, logistics or related areas.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, CIP and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead MPS expert projects at the Tuscaloosa site and other international plants.
• Consult and support lean implementation for production and planning teams.
• Train production teams and leaders to build CIP capabilities.
• Provide rapid on-site support and data-driven analyses.
• Share best practices from a global network to improve local processes.
