Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead third-shift operations in fabrication and welding of large wastewater treatment equipment. You will drive lean manufacturing excellence on the shop floor, focusing on throughput, safety, quality, and workforce performance. As the senior leader on third shift, you will own execution, continuous improvement, and frontline leadership for ~25 hourly employees while coordinating daily production plans and performance updates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated success applying Lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience with SAP and Workday preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean initiatives to improve flow, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
• Supervise and develop a team of ~25 hourly employees and coordinate daily production plans.
• Enforce safety standards and promote accountability and regulatory compliance.
• Lead shift start-ups, daily huddles, and communicate performance updates.
• Coach performance, conduct evaluations, and support employee development.
• Support budget adherence and use ERP data for decision-making.
