Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a production supervisor to oversee hourly workers in a safe, efficient environment. You will drive quality, control costs, and meet customer specifications while maintaining a productive shift operation.

The role emphasizes training, performance feedback, and adherence to safety policies. Experience with Lean Six Sigma and a background in manufacturing is preferred; PCC and related programs are valued for career development.

Qualifications

• High school plus college level courses or equivalent in manufacturing accounting, mathematics, and statistics.
• Two to five years’ experience in related production operations with ability to facilitate team problem solving.
• Lean Six Sigma experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift operations to meet production schedules efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to process control procedures, quality instructions, and safety standards.
• Train and develop employees; conduct performance appraisals and manage grievances.
