Job summary

RH Sheppard is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily distribution of activities in the designated production area, driving safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and management to address issues affecting safety, quality, and efficiency, while acting as a change agent.

The role requires supervisory experience, a manufacturing background, and proficiency with Lean practices.

Qualifications

College degree or high school diploma plus relevant manufacturing experience.
Supervisory experience is required.
Experience in production/manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques: Standardized Work, Continuous Improvement, 5S, JIT.

Responsibilities

Lead and participate in DMS and OEE meetings; serve as back-up to Line Leaders.
Communicate information with Production Supervisors on alternate shifts for handovers.
Maintain and audit KPIs and DMS boards.
Ensure lines run efficiently through resource assignment and delegation.
Address deviations across people, machines, methods, and materials.
Ensure autonomous maintenance activities are performed.
Audit shift activities including planning, quality checks, standard work, and time/attendance.
