Job summary

Butterball, LLC in Raeford, NC is seeking a Production & Manufacturing Operations supervisor to lead a day-to-day team in a food processing facility. You will drive safety culture, monitor KPIs, and guide continuous improvement through Butterball Operating System Solutions (BOSS).

You will oversee staffing, training, and compliance with USDA, HACCP, and other standards while coordinating with support functions to optimize efficiency and cost control.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role.
• 2+ years of leadership experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role.
• Experience in poultry/meat food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day activities of a team and provides coaching to meet goals.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed; conducts routine safety and quality audits.
• Ensures compliance with USDA, OSHA, HACCP, and other regulatory guidelines.
• Leads process improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives with supporting functions.
• Manages labor, tools, supplies, and equipment for efficiency.
• Monitors KPIs such as safety, efficiency, waste, downtime, and labor costs.
• Directs HACCP to meet USDA requirements.
• Develops and executes departmental projects aligned with company goals.
