Job summary

Butterball is seeking a Plant Supervisor to guide day-to-day operations across one of our NC facilities. You will lead a team of contributors and leaders, ensure safety, quality, and lean practices, and drive continuous improvement with Butterball Operating System Solutions (BOSS).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, poultry, animal or food science preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of a team; provide coaching and guidance.
• Ensure safety policies, conduct routine audits, coach on the floor.
• Enforce company policies and regulatory guidelines (USDA, HACCP, etc.).
• Manage manufacturing protocols, product specs, and quality goals.
• Promote lean manufacturing and cost improvements across functions.
• Optimize labor use, tools, and equipment for efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs: safety, efficiency, waste, downtime, labor costs.
