Job summary

nVent is seeking a manufacturing leader to drive Lean initiatives and daily production within value streams in Solon, Ohio. You will lead problem solving, coach teams, and ensure safety and quality while meeting commitments.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred, ideally in a related field
• 5+ years manufacturing experience with leadership experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts
• Ability to adapt to changing business environments and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production activities within value streams to meet commitments while improvements are made
• Drive Lean initiatives to eliminate waste and improve processes
• Track daily performance and communicate results using production boards
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and support safety programs
• Develop current and future state value stream maps and CI plans
• Coach and develop staff, manage performance, and handle disciplinary actions
