Dover Corporation’s OPW Propane Energy Solutions unit in Whitsett, NC, seeks a Production Supervisor for 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 2:30pm–1:00am). This hands-on leader will drive safety, quality, delivery, and productivity while developing staff and promoting a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and employee development. You will coach teams, manage daily production, monitor performance, and collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality,

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s or associate degree in a related field.
• Experience leading production teams in manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily production activities, including reviewing work orders, scheduling resources, and establishing priorities.
• Monitor production performance and resource utilization to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Conduct floor audits and Gemba walks to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Facilitate timely processing and shipment of orders and uphold quality standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
