Job summary

IFA North America is seeking a Production Supervisor for 2nd shift in Summerville, SC to lead a high-volume automotive production team and implement Lean manufacturing, 5S, and root-cause analysis.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience, knowledge of IATF 16949 or ISO14001, and strong communication. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with focus on safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with Lean, 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement methods.
• Strong communication, problem solving and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead production planning to meet forecasts and targets.
• Implement lean practices (5S, visual management, poka-yoke) and troubleshoot root causes.
• Coach and develop associates; conduct performance reviews and feedback.
• Monitor safety, quality, costs and delivery; adjust schedules as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers, management and customers on improvements.
