Job summary

Fehrer Automotive North America LLC in Duncan, SC, seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee shift operations on the production floor, ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping standards, and meet inventory requirements with timely product delivery.

You will mentor and evaluate staff, conduct performance reviews, implement SAP-based processes, and help drive corrective actions for production problems while coordinating start-up and shut-downs.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of manufacturing environments and production systems.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage large teams.
• Ability to train and mentor employees and maintain motivation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data handling.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret instructions; write work instructions when needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 30-50 production employees on a shift.
• Ensure startup/shutdown, safety, quality, and housekeeping standards are followed.
• Mentor staff, conduct performance reviews, and set goals.
• Coordinate with management to implement corrective actions for production problems.
• Utilize SAP and maintain audit/compliance with IATF 16949, ISO, and TISAX.
