Job summary

Cabinetworks Group in Ohio seeks a department supervisor to lead daily operations, assign and coordinate work, and drive cost-effective performance while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will coach employees, track attendance in Kronos, participate in continuous improvement projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet plant objectives under the COS framework.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred in related field.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing software systems.
• Lean/Six Sigma or Kaizen training a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; capable of training others.

Responsibilities

• Lead department to achieve plant objectives and COS metrics.
• Assign and coordinate work, review performance, and address issues.
• Drive productivity while controlling costs and maintaining safety, quality, and housekeeping.
• Coach and develop employees; manage absenteeism and timekeeping in Kronos.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and costs.
• Inspect products to ensure standards and specifications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support operations.
