Job summary

Cabinetworks Group in Indiana is seeking a Production Manager to lead shop floor operations across multiple departments, ensuring safety, quality, delivery and cost targets under the Manufacturing MOS.

You will develop teams, drive continuous improvement through Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma, manage budgets and capex, and collaborate with customers and suppliers to sustain operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
  • 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Lean tool knowledge and application.
  • Fundamental knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen activities and Six Sigma processes.
  • Demonstrated successful leadership and team development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and be accountable for performance and goal attainment as defined by MOS.
  • Develop and manage a culture of discipline to deliver safety, quality, delivery, cost and operational performance.
  • Lead initiatives in continuous improvement and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure operations comply with Standard Work Instructions, Training Plans, and documentation processes.
  • Participate in capital/expense planning and realization for areas.
  • Lead and execute value stream mapping and other CI activities.
  • Provide performance feedback and develop subordinates.
