Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Production Manager in Maryland to oversee a value stream, drive lean manufacturing, and push for operational excellence. You will lead daily operations, plan ahead, and track performance to meet production, delivery, cost, and quality targets.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, and Finance to ensure end-to-end flow. The role emphasizes data-driven decisions to reduce lead times, minimize waste, and improve yield

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of manufacturing experience with cross-functional leadership.
• Proven lean manufacturing implementer in high-mix, low-volume environments.
• Strong data analytics and data-driven decision making.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all value stream activities, including daily operations, short- and long-term planning, and performance tracking, with accountability for production, delivery, cost, and quality targets.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Maintenance to ensure upstream and downstream processes support flow and continuous improvement.
• Apply lean principles to design, manage, and continuously improve the value stream; lead root-cause analysis and Kaizen events.
• Lead a diverse team of supervisors, operators, and support staff; build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor KPIs such as safety, throughput, on-time delivery, inventory turns, and labor efficiency; use data to drive decisions.
• Participate in site-level planning; translate business objectives into value stream plans and scalability.
