Job summary

Moog Inc. in Blacksburg, Virginia, seeks a Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations, driving safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.

You will develop Production Coaches and champion continuous improvement within a culture of trust and accountability. The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of manufacturing experience or an equivalent combination, plus at least 3 years of direct supervision in a plant setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and manufacturing experience (see base requirements).
• Demonstrated lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
• Direct supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Production Coaches to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goals.
• Optimize production schedules, labor, capacity, and material requirements.
• Drive lean initiatives (6S, Gemba walks, standard work, Kaizen) and waste elimination.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained and products meet requirements.
• Promote a safety-first culture and OSHA/health and environmental compliance.
