Job summary

Moog Space and Defense Group in Blacksburg, VA is seeking a Materials Manager to lead production control and inventory accuracy on-site. You will supervise ERP planners and materials analysts, coordinate with Supply Chain and Operations, and drive continuous improvement in workflows and data integrity.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline, at least five years in materials management or supply chain, and two years of leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline.
• 5 years in Materials Management or Supply Chain or Operations.
• 2 years leadership or supervision experience
• Experience working in an ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Lead production control (PC) functions for all Value Streams for the Central Plants.
• Supervise ERP planners, materials analysts, and other roles as assigned.
• Maintain oversight on timely issuance of production orders, material movement/flow through the plant in support of KPI.
• Ensure accurate inventory transactions including cycle counting in-house and offshore.
