Job summary

Purple Innovation, LLC in McDonough, GA is seeking a Production Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing execution on the Thursday-Saturday shift (7a-730p). You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency by aligning with Line Managers and the Operations Systems Manager to achieve throughput, cost, uptime, and WIP goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least two years of experience managing a production line and team using Lean principles.
• Demonstrated success leading a large production team in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth understanding of production principles, general plant operations, and methods for achieving production goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and use production systems accurately.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing execution and create conditions for safe, high-quality production.
• Drive safety, quality, throughput, cost, uptime, and WIP improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Lead, motivate, and train Line Managers and Operators to strengthen teamwork and ownership.
• Apply 5S and Lean improvements and maintain organized, safe work environments.
• Facilitate daily production meetings and coordinate production planning and staffing.
