Job summary

Ready Foods, a family-owned food manufacturing company based in Denver, seeks a skilled Production Equipment Operator to join our team. You will operate, adjust, and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant goals, while collaborating across departments and upholding safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires experience with Cryovac and hydration equipment, plus familiarity with automation, ERP reporting (Just Foods), and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining high-speed production equipment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workload effectively.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Forklift certification and warehouse machinery experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
• Willingness to undergo training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Operate, adjust, and repair high-speed production equipment to meet production goals.
• Assist in performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Build positive relationships across teams through collaboration, communication, and strong integrity.
• Operate Cryovac equipment and manage sanitation, setup, and troubleshooting of hydration gear.
• Operate Corenco, Dicer, and scales for pre-scaling processes.
• Follow all safety practices, food safety rules, PPE use, and emergency procedures.
• Read, understand, and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
• Participate in training with Job Instructions (JI) and Job Relations (JR).
• Understand Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Assets in Red Zone.
• Familiarity with automation/robotics machinery and Armor Inox packaging equipment.
