Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Miami, FL seeks a Systems and Process Specialist to lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across the station. You will apply PDCA, Kaizen and Six Sigma to identify inefficiencies, analyze data, and deploy action plans with local teams, while ensuring documentation and compliance.

Strong collaboration with IT and regional BPE teams is required. Minimum 4 years in transport/logistics operations or Lean projects is expected, along with a BA/BS in relevant field.

Qualifications

• Education in Supply Chain, Engineering, Transportation, or related field.
• BA/BS in a relevant discipline as listed.
• Minimum 4 years in a similar transport operations or Lean/CI role.
• Experience managing transport or logistics CI and IT projects.
• Knowledge of transport operations, freight management, or contract logistics.
• Strong process engineering and management background.
• Good analytics and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of Lean, PDCA, Kaizen and Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Identify inefficiencies and implement Lean improvements to streamline processes.
• Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for site performance.
• Lead continuous improvement projects from inception to completion.
• Monitor KPIs and report progress to management and BPE teams.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for consistency and compliance.
• Maintain records of improvement activities and document progress.
• Conduct Lean training sessions for staff and promote adoption of tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Lean initiatives.
• Support cross-country/regional tool/process rollouts with IT and BPE.
