Merck & Co. in Durham, NC, seeks a Specialist, Business Consulting to drive the MPS program across the Durham site. You will coach teams, apply lean methods, and partner with Integrated Process Teams to improve safety, quality, cost and lead time.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and lean principles.
• Ability to analyze data and drive improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Coach and partner with Integrated Process Teams and Centers of Excellence to drive sustainable lean improvements.
• Prioritize and standardize process, material, and information management across value streams.
• Work with production teams on the shop floor to identify issues and build trust through standardized communication tools.
• Coordinate area governance processes (metrics, portfolio, gemba).
• Apply continuous improvement within the Company Production System to realize people and business benefits.
• Stay current with new technology, procedures, and management practices to maintain a skilled workforce.
