The role emphasizes training, monitoring performance, and implementing continuous improvement projects, with focus on quality, yield, and safety across production lines.

Qualifications

• A degree (A.S./A.B.S.) or technical training preferred; 3+ years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must read and write English.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, overtime.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and E-verify.
• Knowledge of production equipment fundamentals.
• Ability to communicate with all levels including management.
• Must be able to operate forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Must wear PPE.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs the department supervisors and trains leadership.
• Develops supervisors through training programs to meet goals.
• Oversees processing/production to meet quality, yield, productivity, cost, and safety.
• Monitors standards and indexes for responsibility area.
• Leads safety orientations and safety meetings to minimize risk.
• Participates in planning and development of techniques; other duties as assigned.
