Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate.
• 1–3 years of experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Knowledge of 5S, Kanban, standardized workflows, VSM, Kaizen and visual factory.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the plant's Continuous Improvement Team.
• Coordinate Lean activities with the CI Team and other duties.
• Evaluate operations to identify waste and opportunities for improvement.
• Facilitate value stream mapping and Kaizen events.
• Develop, prioritize, and implement solutions to reduce waste and improve performance.
• Document and standardize improvements.
• Teach, coach, and mentor all levels in Continuous Improvement and manufacturing principles.
• Train employees to identify and eliminate waste.
• Develop programs to foster employee involvement in CI culture.
• Attend seminars and share knowledge with plant staff.
• Prepares regular and special reports as required.
• Performs other duties as required.
