Job summary

FC Industries, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to lead continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations in Dayton, Ohio. You will drive productivity, reduce waste, and implement Lean Manufacturing to support operational excellence.

The role requires 5+ years in process improvement, a Bachelor’s in engineering, and hands-on experience with Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, OEE, and TPM. You’ll work with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing process improvement experience.
• Lean Manufacturing expertise.
• Proficiency in 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work.
• Experience with TPM and reliability programs.
• Proven cost-reduction achievements.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (preferred).
• Experience managing multi-site improvement initiatives (preferred).
• Low/ high-volume manufacturing experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain Value Stream Maps using Value Stream Mapping.
• Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities.
• Reduce changeover times utilizing SMED methodologies.
• Develop a system to capture, educate operators to record/reduce Scrap.
• Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Facilitate root cause analysis investigations.
• Develop and implement standard work procedures.
• Partner with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams.
• Track and report KPI improvements.
• Train employees on Lean tools and methodologies.
• Maintain a strong floor presence.
• Experience in TPM and reliability programs related to maintenance PM’s
