Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a seasoned manufacturing professional to lead lean process improvements across Texas facilities. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, capital project ROI, and strong collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Environmental Health and Safety teams.

Travel up to 75-90% across Texas locations is required. The candidate should be self-motivated, capable of operating in a decentralized, matrixed environment, and drive profitability, throughput,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience ideally in precast.
• In depth knowledge and practical experience applying lean manufacturing methodologies to support continuous production operations.
• Quality control/maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Track record of achieving positive results using lean manufacturing techniques.
• Competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and experience with ERP/MRP systems and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate production methods using lean tools and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and competitive advantage at regional locations.
• Provide guidance and training to plant teams on lean practices.
• Drive process changes with plant-level coordination.
• Optimize plant layout and flow to reduce inefficiencies and costs.
• Lead plant improvement workshops to address bottlenecks.
• Provide training on kaizen, 5S and lean tools and techniques.
• Track and ensure identified improvements are completed as planned.
• Translate operational needs into project requirements and specs.
• Evaluate capital proposals and develop ROI analyses.
• Support leadership in prioritizing high-value opportunities.
• Manage project commitments and oversee budget compliance.
