Job summary

Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking a results-driven Process Engineer for our Arden Hills, MN facility. You will drive continuous improvement across operations, lead Lean Kaizen teams, and collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, and quality teams to optimize processes while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a four-year engineering degree (preferred) with 3–5 years in manufacturing, strong problem solving, and proficiency with statistical tools.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Engineering preferred and 3-5 years' manufacturing experience.
• Understanding of quality management systems and tools (SPC, Pareto charts, Histograms, Lean).

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement projects to improve safety, quality, productivity, waste and costs.
• Lead Kaizen teams using Lean methodologies.
• Troubleshoot daily production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop project justifications and ROI analyses for capital requests.
• Ensure safety initiatives and HACCP/GMP compliance.
• Supervise projects with management, supervisors and maintenance staff.
