Hood Packaging Corporation in Arden Hills, MN is seeking a Process Engineer to drive continuous process improvement, safety enhancements, and overall plant efficiency. The role requires Lean expertise and collaboration across operations and maintenance teams.

Ideal candidates have a four-year engineering degree and 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, with a strong grasp of quality management tools such as SPC and histograms.

Qualificações

• Four-year degree in Engineering preferred and at least 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• A complete understanding of quality management systems and tools, including SPC, Pareto charts, Histograms, brainstorming, and Lean Manufacturing concepts and applications.

Responsabilidades

• Identifies, develops, and manages process improvement projects aimed at improving safety, quality, productivity, waste and costs.
• Leads Kaizen Teams utilizing Lean methodologies to achieve future state goals.
• Trouble shoots daily production and process problems and implements corrective actions using Lean tools.
• Develops setup, run and change-over documentation and facilitates training.
• Performs ROI analyses and prepares capital/project justifications.
• Supports safety initiatives and HACCP/GMP compliance.
