Job summary

ABB Smart Power in Senatobia, MS is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer for the 2nd shift. You will define and optimize production processes from concept through startup, supporting cost targets and equipment investments.

You will work with the Process Engineering team to standardize lean initiatives, design test specs, and drive continuous improvement, ergonomic and hazard reduction, with CAD/AutoCAD skills and lean/Six Sigma knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering and at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• CAD or AutoCAD skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Experience with process engineering software is preferred.
• Experience with process simulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and optimize manufacturing processes from concept through startup and ramp.
• Assess and improve process performance by data analysis to ensure optimal methods and ergonomics.
• Define, implement, and maintain process and test standards and instructions.
• Execute continuous improvement initiatives, including engineering change implementation and NPI support.
• Eliminate ergonomic and process hazards.
