Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group (CPG), part of RPM International, seeks a Process Engineer to provide on-the-floor engineering support, ensure product processing meets quality standards, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing.

The role focuses on safety, process control, Lean initiatives, and capital projects, with responsibilities including standard work, GEMBA walks, troubleshooting, and training operators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering.
• 5+ years of PLC experience or packaging process experience preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives and manage on-floor safety with supervisors.
• Develop and execute standard work and Lean initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Maximize equipment efficiency and product quality; troubleshoot and design processes.
• Train operators on quality-critical specs and process parameters.
