Job summary

DP World Contract Logistics is seeking a Process Engineer in Rialto to lead lean initiatives, optimize line balancing, PFEP, and value stream mapping. You’ll drive continuous improvement, update headcount tooling, and collaborate with Operations, IT, and PM teams to implement efficient work systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering or related field with 2–3 years in logistics/warehousing environments, strong Excel/Access/Visio skills, and experience with WMS/TMS/OMS/SCM.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Research with engineering redesign and cost savings focus.
2–3 years in solutions design within logistics/warehousing/manufacturing.
Experience supporting warehousing contracts with engineering expertise.
Experience in packaging and/or innovation.
Strong computer skills: Excel (pivot tables), Access (queries, forms, reports), Visio.

Responsibilities

Apply Lean standards to line balancing, PFEP, VSM, FMEA, control plans, and studies.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives at plant level and develop flexible layouts.
Update headcount analysis tools for direct and indirect labor impact.
Prepare studies to reflect changing processes in calculations.
Measure standard time to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
Be main contact for capacity, process improvement, and standard time inquiries.
Collaborate with Operations, Accounts, Facilities and PM teams on solutions.
Manage engineering budget, processes, equipment, and facilities for projects.
Advise on capital equipment purchases (forklifts, tooling, lift assists, etc.).
Perform other duties as assigned.
