Job summary

Generac Power Systems is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer II to lead Lean initiatives on the shop floor in Whitewater, WI. You will coach teams in value stream mapping, 5S, standard work, and visual management while delivering measurable improvements across the value stream.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and at least 3 years of Lean/CI experience, with hands-on use of the Generac Manufacturing System (GMS) to drive root-cause problem solving and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 3 years of Continuous Improvement or Lean Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Coach and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and the Generac Manufacturing System (GMS).
• Develop, document, and implement standard work to enable ongoing improvements.
• Mentor facility team members in Lean principles and tools; drive information sharing of best practices.
