Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering (Industrial/Manufacturing) or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Experience collaborating with supervisors, production teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; proactive and self-directed.
• Strong communication and leadership-influencing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyze manufacturing processes to identify issues, assess risks, and recommend solutions.
• Drive problem-solving and process improvement initiatives; escalate for broader support when needed.
• Provide engineering support for vehicle processing operations, including new product launches and production ramp-ups.
• Maintain and update production documents governing layout, workflow, and system configurations.
• Support capacity planning, layout redesigns, and expansion efforts to meet production targets.
• Order and implement tooling and equipment; establish preventative maintenance schedules.
• Define and document the correct order of operations; support Bills of Process and related documents.
• Validate work instructions and standard work during prototype and production builds.
• Develop and maintain audit schedules for critical processes; support CAPA and continuous improvement.
