Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated seeks an Engineer to raise production efficiency by refining processes and developing new manufacturing technologies to reduce costs, improve safety, reliability, and quality. This role is an integral resource for Continuous Improvement and requires collaboration with Operations, Procurement, Sales, and Quality to fulfill production and customer needs.

The engineer will lead capital projects, troubleshoot manufacturing problems, create 3D models in SolidWorks, and review

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in General Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is required.
3–6 years of engineering experience with design, development or project management.
Proficiency in engineering software and tools for design, analysis and implementation.

Responsibilities

Employ Lean manufacturing principles in product fabrication and new configurations.
Support and lead capital projects to improve safety, production efficiency and quality.
Troubleshoot production problems and make data-driven recommendations.
Drive engineering-related manufacturing changes to improve quality, cost and lead time.
Create 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks; review drawings for accuracy and consistency.
Review customer specifications against company standards and capabilities.
